This remote-controlled boat features a classic deep-V racing speedboat design, a high-performance structure optimized for high-speed water navigation.
The hull boasts sleek and dynamic lines. Its sharp bow and streamlined bottom curve efficiently cut through waves, greatly reducing sailing resistance and boosting straight-line speed and stability. The wave-breaking side wings not only enhance its striking racing appearance, but also provide extra lateral support at high speeds to lower the risk of capsizing.
Recommended Filament
PETG is highly preferred for printing the main hull. It features outstanding toughness, impact resistance and weather resistance, along with better waterproof performance than PLA, making it ideal for long-term use in humid environments.
Alternative Filament
PLA is easy to print with fine finished details, yet it has poor water resistance and weather resistance, suitable as a secondary option.
Standard Printing Setting
0.2mm layer height balances printing efficiency and surface finish. It ensures sufficient structural strength for daily play and racing without excessive printing time, perfect for most users.
High-Precision Printing Setting
Choose 0.12mm layer height if you pursue ultra-smooth hull surface.
Support Recommendation
Manually designed standard supports are adopted. With neat structure, they can be removed in whole pieces, minimizing support marks and simplifying post-processing.
Alternative Support
Tree supports consume less material and are easier to remove. Please adjust support density properly to avoid surface sagging on curved parts.
Remove all supports thoroughly after printing, especially residues on the hull bottom, under side wings and hatch edges, to guarantee watertightness and sailing performance. Smooth burrs and layer lines on sharp edges with fine sandpaper to prevent hand scratches and extra water resistance, as well as damage to the boat and surrounding objects during high-speed sailing.
This model is designed to match official MakerKit accessories including power system, remote control system and waterproof parts. It fits reserved mounting positions perfectly with no extra modification needed for easy assembly.
Recommended Waters
Priority: Park artificial lakes and professional model boat pools. Alternative: Community lakes and calm river bends. Small ponds are available for basic debugging. Please abide by local water area regulations to ensure personal and model safety.
Always open the hatch and drain all accumulated water thoroughly after use. Wipe all components dry and store the boat in a well-ventilated dry place to prevent moisture damage and short circuits, so as to extend the service life of the model.
Wish you a smooth printing and assembly experience. Let this racing speedboat ride the waves freely on the water and enjoy every safe and pleasant voyage. Take your time to polish details if you meet printing troubles, and always follow safety rules while having fun. Enjoy your creation and gain a great sense of achievement every time you steer it!
